U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement
This agreement challenges mayors to accept a set of global climate change commitments that mirrors the Kyoto Protocol. As of May 15, 2007 514 mayors representing over 65 million Americans have accepted the challenge. Mayors endorsing the agreement fill out, sign and send a participation form.
Moving the Commonwealth to Biofuels

The Union of Concerned Scientists has created a nice web page on the benefits of wind power to local communities. It features Massachusetts wind power projects as success stories. Typical of UCS, it is well written and documented.
Mass Megawatts Wind Power, Inc.
From the home page: Mass Megawatts Wind Power, Inc. is a leader in the development of low-cost, wind energy production systems.  The patented, Multi-Axis Turbosystem (MAT) is capable of generating electricity at 2.5 cents per kilowatt-hour at an average wind speed of 15.5 miles per hour. This generation cost is 40% below traditional wind turbine technologies, and is directly competitive with fossil fuel power plants such as coal and natural gas.
